Today was a very fun day for me and Nate! First, Nate took me out to lunch at Olive Garden....yummmm! We then decided to go look for ammo for Nate's gun (this is not uncommon :) After spending half the day doing that we decided to go over to the house and finish painting one of the bedrooms and start on the next one. We finished up one of the spare bedrooms, started on the main hallway, and Nate almost finished the other spare bedroom. We are definetly going to have to do another coat though! We decided to paint it in this funky green color. It is going to be Nate's "man" room so I wanted him to have a say in the color of it. He said he didn't really care as long as it was some sort of green....so I picked out a funky green that will be cute with his hunting stuff as well! LOL! The other bedroom is probably the only room in the house that is going to be a normal tan color. The rest are all going to be really unique colors. I love color and am definetly not scared to use it!
We had such a good day today though! I had so much fun just being with Nate all day and getting to spend time together. We don't get many days where we get to do that so when we do I like to soak it all up! I know that here in a few months we will be together constantly but right now that seems like FOREVER away!! We are so ready for the next 6 months to fly by!!
Hope everyone has a wonderful week!

7 Months!!
Well Nate and I are down to 7 months! Can you believe it!!! We are soo excited and can't wait for these 7 months to fly on by! We just found out that Nathan's parents are going to let us live in their rent house in Lowell! They do not have renters right now (perfect timing!!) and said they would be more than happy to let us stay there! It is so cute! Not to mention the 5 acres it has with it!
Also, our friends Courtney and Justin got engaged on Valentine's Day! We are so happy for them and so look forward to attending their wedding!
Other than that things have been pretty slow...we have still been doing stuff for the wedding but there is only so much you can do this far out! We do have engagement pictures on March 22 and are super excited about that! Then, right after engagements, I have my bridal shoot on April 19th! I have been looking at our photographers blog a lot recently and I am more and more impressed with their work everytime! They are fabulous and I absolutely cannot wait to finally get to work with them and see how they can match mine and Nate's styles!
I will update you soon on more wedding progress!

Well I have got to get back on the blogging bandwagon! I have totally been slacking! There is so much that has happened since the last time I blogged.
I will start with Christmas! We had such a wonderful Christmas this year....we had 5 of them to attend this year! It was crazy but great! We got to spend so much time with both of our sides of the family and it was well needed.
New Years was also great. Nathan's brother and his girlfriend got married and it was beautiful. Congrats!
January 3rd our friends Colby Rhoades and Tracy Parker got married! We didn't get to make it but we heard that it was beautiful!
January 10th our friends Sarah Roberts and Daniel got married! This wedding was georgeous! It totally reflected Sarah's personality and I am so happy for them! They are now moving to California for 3 months and then to Florida for 2 years because Daniel is in the Reserves. They will be missed very much!
My birthday was January 9th and I think that the best way to celebrate your birthday is all month long! You should not just have a birthday "Day" but a birthday "month". Nathan's mom Glinda's best friend Kathy has informed me that this is the way to do it and I can't say that that is such a bad idea! I did have a great birthday though and I do have a fantastic family! They are way too good to me!
On January 16th we welcomed a new little girl, Ryleigh Kate, into this world! This is my cousin Kyle and his wife Allisha's first baby and she is beautiful! The 16th was also her daddy's birthday so I can't imagine him getting a better birthday present! She weighed 8 lbs 9 oz.....what a big girl! She is so beautiful and I am so excited to watch her grow and see just want her little personality will be like.
On a differnt note, wedding planning is in full throttle! Mom and I have been busy, busy, busy and we still have a little under 8 months! Lol! The way we look at it though, the sooner you get the big stuff done, the more time you will have to spend on the little stuff that you forget at the end! We just went on Saturday morning to Rick's Bakery and got a quote on my cake! What a wonderful place! Last Saturday we visited the florist we are thinking about using.....she does a wonderful job and is very affordable! (Brick Street Botanical in Rogers is the place we are thinking of using.) She had some awesome ideas and I am so excited to see more! I think that this week sometime we are going to try and make it down to Briar Patch (the place I got my dress) and pick out a veil!! I am so excited about this because it will be the first time I have seen my dress since October! YAY! We have engagement pictures on March 23rd with our FABULOUS photographers (Photographs and Memories based in Fort Smith) and on April 12th we have bridal portraits! We are just starting to get into the busy time and I am soooooo excited about this!
On the agenda this week:
Monday- Clean and begin cooking for Southern Living Party tomorrow night!
Tuesday- Southern Living Party @ 6:30
Wednesday- Hair appointment with Angie!! YAY! I need my hair done soooo bad!!
Thursday- Not sure yet...but this may be the night we go look at veils!
Friday- Hang out with Nate...which is my favorite thing to do :)
Well I am so glad i finally got on here and posted! And I am also sorry that you had to read so much! Next time I won't wait so long to post and then I won't have so much to fill you in on!

What a wonderful day!!
Well I am sitting at work right now.....only 39 minutes before I go home! YAY!
My "Black Friday" was the best one yet! Three great things happened that day!
1- Mom and I went and did some major shopping damage! It was soooo much fun! I finished shopping for Glinda, Kenny, Kyle and Mom! That only leaves Nathan (who is almost done), Dalton, Dad and Sarah! I am so excited about Christmas this year! We woke up at 3 and met at 3:30 to start! We didn't finish until late that afternoon!
2- Nathan and I picked up our washer and dryer! It was so exciting! They are so cute and I am so excited that we have actually started buying things for our future house!
3- 3 weeks and 5 days ago I had to return my engagement ring because it was too hard to size. It was 2 sized too big and they said that I would have to order a complete new ring because if I sized the one I had, the diamonds would fall out because they would become too lose. Well they told us that day it would take 6-8 weeks to get my ring back in. So on "Black Friday" when Nate got off work, he came and met me at Belk to finish up our shopping. When he walked up, he told me that he had something for me. Out of his shirt pocket he pulled out my beautiful ring!!!! It only took 3 weeks and 5 days and I feel sooo much better! I wore Nate's mom's first wedding ring while mine was gone, which was beautiful, but I just felt a little naked without mine! So needless to say, I now have my beautiful ring back on my finger!
When I think of a wonderful day, I don't think I could have picked a better way to have one! I know it sounds dorky but even those 3 little things happening were such huge things for me! I will write back soon!
Love-

Happy Thanksgiving!
I am so excited for this week! It is such a wonderful time of year! I am housesitting for a wonderful couple (The Roberts) and am so excited about having Wednesday through Friday off! I am so ready for a break!
Mom and I are planning on getting up bright and early on "Black Friday" and being part of that craziness! Yes, we are going to be some of the crazy people who wake up a 4:00 in the morning to try and make it to Wal-mart before the rest of the crazy people!
Nathan and I also have purchased our first major appliance! A front loading washer and dryer! We are so excited! (what a weird thing to be excited for!) My cousin Kyle sent us a flyer last week of a WONDERFUL deal on these and we couldn't pass them up! Plus I have always wanted front loaders! Thank you Kyle!
Well I hope that everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and I also hope that everyone takes a moment to think about what all you have to be thankful for! We are so blessed to have so much and I hope that no one takes that for granted this year!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

September 19, 2009
Well I thought that I would start this blog after looking at my cousin Kyle and his wife Allisha's blog! It is the cutest idea!
I thought this would be a great way to share with you the progress of Nathan and I's wedding plans but also to just help keep everyone up to date on life! We are currently planning our wedding which will be held on September 19, 2009. We could not be more excited about this time in our lives and are so thankful that we have such wonderful family and friends to share it with.
Currently, this is what we have done for the wedding:
I just bought my dress about 2 weeks ago and it is BEAUTIFUL! I love it so much! It was such a blessing because my Mom and I had looked at it a few months ago and knew it was the one but hadn't ordered it yet. The day we went in to try it on again and make sure it was the one they put all of their dresses half off. They were going to market the next week and needed to get rid of some of their current in stock dresses! We were so very thankful for that!
We also have our honeymoon booked! How exciting is that! We are going to Daytona Beach, FL for a week and are so ready! Another blessing, Nathan's mom and dad have a time share and we were able to pick from A TON of wonderful options!
We are booking our photographer at the end of this week. Nathan and I met with her last Saturday and LOVED her work. I ran into her at a bridal fair and fell in love with her photography and I knew that she was the one I wanted to use. The name of the company is Photographs and Memories and they are based out of Ft. Smith. The couples names are Bill and Alesha and they are awesome! I love it because they were just as excited as we were and they just wanted it to be a special day all about us! I am soooo excited!
I will post again soon and let you know how the photography booking process goes!
Love much-
