To say we had a good Halloween would be an understatement! We had a BLAST! Porter had so much fun! Everyday I keep saying "Oh this is the most fun day since Porter has been here!"...but Halloween was seriously the most fun day with Porter! He loved his costume and loved all of the attention from his grandparents!
Grandmama and I left work at 11 so we could go get Porter and start our Halloween early. We headed up to Grumpy's work for a surprise visit.
Porter and Grandmama heading in to see Grumpy
He wasn't a bit happy to see Porter...can't you tell ;)
After we left Grumpy's work, we headed to mine and Grandmama's work. We started out in Grandmama's building, then came over to mine to show him off! Everyone loves Porter and they were so excited to see how big he is getting. (I forgot to take pics at our work)
We then left and headed over to Grandmama and Grumpy's house to let the trick or treating festivities begin! A couple of years ago we started an annual tradition of having some of my cousins and friends over to my parents to trick or treat with the kiddos so this year we made it extra special and had soup, dessert and visiting time before it was time to head out! Mom really outdid herself and we seriously had SO much fun being able to visit with everyone! Porter's other grandparents were able to make it too! I know he loved having all 4 of them there to celebrate his first Halloween with him! Our best friends, Nick and Maranda, and their little girl, Bela also came over! We LOVED spending time with them!
Beautiful Bela the Butterfly
I love these 2 babies with all of my heart! I could literally eat them up with a spoon!
Mommy's little elephant!
Porter with his Gigi and Grandmama! Love this pic! 2 of my favorite ladies!
Bela informed NayNay that she wanted to hold his hand while they were trick or treating...sweetest thing ever!
She definetly has both of these boys wrapped around her finger! Boys better watch out!
SO thankful for these friends!
Happy Halloween from the Avey's!
Have a great weekend!!
