Well I have got to get back on the blogging bandwagon! I have totally been slacking! There is so much that has happened since the last time I blogged.

I will start with Christmas! We had such a wonderful Christmas this year....we had 5 of them to attend this year! It was crazy but great! We got to spend so much time with both of our sides of the family and it was well needed.

New Years was also great. Nathan's brother and his girlfriend got married and it was beautiful. Congrats!

January 3rd our friends Colby Rhoades and Tracy Parker got married! We didn't get to make it but we heard that it was beautiful!

January 10th our friends Sarah Roberts and Daniel got married! This wedding was georgeous! It totally reflected Sarah's personality and I am so happy for them! They are now moving to California for 3 months and then to Florida for 2 years because Daniel is in the Reserves. They will be missed very much!

My birthday was January 9th and I think that the best way to celebrate your birthday is all month long! You should not just have a birthday "Day" but a birthday "month". Nathan's mom Glinda's best friend Kathy has informed me that this is the way to do it and I can't say that that is such a bad idea! I did have a great birthday though and I do have a fantastic family! They are way too good to me!

On January 16th we welcomed a new little girl, Ryleigh Kate, into this world! This is my cousin Kyle and his wife Allisha's first baby and she is beautiful! The 16th was also her daddy's birthday so I can't imagine him getting a better birthday present! She weighed 8 lbs 9 oz.....what a big girl! She is so beautiful and I am so excited to watch her grow and see just want her little personality will be like.

On a differnt note, wedding planning is in full throttle! Mom and I have been busy, busy, busy and we still have a little under 8 months! Lol! The way we look at it though, the sooner you get the big stuff done, the more time you will have to spend on the little stuff that you forget at the end! We just went on Saturday morning to Rick's Bakery and got a quote on my cake! What a wonderful place! Last Saturday we visited the florist we are thinking about using.....she does a wonderful job and is very affordable! (Brick Street Botanical in Rogers is the place we are thinking of using.) She had some awesome ideas and I am so excited to see more! I think that this week sometime we are going to try and make it down to Briar Patch (the place I got my dress) and pick out a veil!! I am so excited about this because it will be the first time I have seen my dress since October! YAY! We have engagement pictures on March 23rd with our FABULOUS photographers (Photographs and Memories based in Fort Smith) and on April 12th we have bridal portraits! We are just starting to get into the busy time and I am soooooo excited about this!

On the agenda this week:

Monday- Clean and begin cooking for Southern Living Party tomorrow night!
Tuesday- Southern Living Party @ 6:30
Wednesday- Hair appointment with Angie!! YAY! I need my hair done soooo bad!!
Thursday- Not sure yet...but this may be the night we go look at veils!
