These are my new living room curtains! What do you think?? My mother-in-law makes curtains and she made these for me and came over and put these up this week! She said that the funky pattern reminded her of me! After Christmas we are going to recover my pillows in some fun fabrics!! I think they look great though and I think they will look even better when I get the pillows finished and some more odds and ends for my end-tables! For those of ya'll that don't know, I like bright, bold colors!

I also put up my 2nd Christmas tree!! I decided to put it up next to my antique buffet in the kitchen. It is more of a nature tree and next year it will go up in Nate's "guy room". Next year my kitchen tree will be bright red, green and zebra print! It will be my newest addition! Growing up, my mom had 7 Christmas trees she put up so I think I may be following in her footsteps!
Thursday night, my best friend Ashtyn and i went Christmas shopping/grocery shopping for our Christmas party/Christmas light looking!We started out getting groceries and then made our way to the mall somehow (that always seems to happen :) to do some Christmas shopping and then out looking at lights! We had so much fun!
Friday night me, Nate, Ashtyn and my cousin Jarrod decided to run down to the square to see all of the beautiful Christmas lights! We have done this every year and every year it seems to be more and more beautiful!

Saturday morning we got up very early and met my Mom for breakfast and then went to my Memaw's house to make Christmas candies! It was so much fun! All of us girls ended up making it and we just had a great visit! Each of us girls brought our favorite Christmas candy recipe and the ingredients to make that recipe. We then made our candy and shared it amoung the girls! I was fun and I hope to do it again next year!

Saturday night was our first annual Christmas dinner at our house with our closest friends! We had so much fun! We had a huge dinner and then we played Taboo and watched a movie/visited afterwards!

Well tomorrow is back to work (UGH) and then 10 more days til we are off to Branson for the Kilpatrick's family Christmas at Big Cedar Lodge! (Nate's mom's side). We are going up on the 22nd and will be back on the 23rd. Can you believe that Christmas is in 12 days???? Its insane! I have so much shopping left to do! Hope ya'll have a GREAT week!
